Finding a specialist

I learned I not only have osteonecrosis in both my hips, but also my left knee. All due to high doses of steroid for a long period at a time.

I’m 28 now, but i was diagnosed at with RA in 2012. I was unable to work at the age 16 and 17 but I took homeschool for my high school diploma. The treatment for-all my symptoms like my swelling was prednisone. Depending on swelling it depends how much medications. During this process I was taking all the drugs like plaquinel, methotrexate, and others.
I just got a hip replacement in January for my left hip and I’m not scared of the other hip surgery, considering it saved a lot of pain.
But they want to take their time to replace my other (left) hip for as long as they can so I don’t have to replace them in 10 years ahead at the same time.

A year ago, I just found out about my knee and I asked them about it and they said nah your good, next appointment, ya everything good. 3rd appointment- you need to get an MRI to confirm your necrosis in your knee.

Frustrated with no treatment but the treatment we have can make us completely worse. Steroids help! Don’t get me wrong, but the side effects can be devastating.

I’m wondering if anyone knows what specialist I can see to try and find more test and get help with prevention of total hip replacement. Or possible other reasons of why this is happening? I’ve experienced cauda equina syndrome and I believe I’m having new symptoms 6 years later. Possible due my a thecal sac I got drained coming back?

Any suggestions? I already see an orthopedic surgeon, rheumatologist, and primary. Soon too go back to my hematologist to see if it’s my blood.

Also what order should I get my knee and hip replaced since it’s on the same leg?

Thanks for listening.
